This collection consists of records from the Director's office. The bulk of the records cover the directorships of Max Anderson and Bonnie Pitman, though there are files that date back to Directors Parker, Brettell, Gates, and Lane. Records inlcude chronological and general alphabetic corespondence files; collection and aquistions; programs and events; policies and procedures; donor relations, particularly with Hoffman, Marcus Foundation, McDermott, Owsely, and Stoffel; and other subject files such as Arts District, City of Dallas, Nasher Sculpture Center, and New Cities Foundation.
