The Artist Files series contains files on artists collected by Harris over time. The files primarily document Texas and southwest-based artists, but also includes artists in other locations. The files document artists working in all media, though craft and photography are well represented. Types of records that may be found in the artist files are exhibition catalogues, gallery announcments, brochures, flyers, photographs (slides and prints), press releases, news clippings (print and online), biographical information and artist statements and professional and personal correspondence. Artists files are arranged alphabetically by artist last name.
