Scope and Contents

Print depicts the Lakshmi-Narayan stone sculpture that had been a promised gift to the DMA but was returned to Nepal through the FBI when it was discovered that the sculpture was looted.

See related folder containing certificate of authenticity and letter from the artist gifting the print to the DMA in recognition of returning the sculpture to Nepal. Folder also contains media coverage of the discovery and return, DMA announcements and internal correspondence. Internal correspondence is restricted.
