DMA subject files and sample formats

This collection contains the chronological correspondence maintained by Director's Office staff on behalf of Director Harry S. Parker III (1974-1987). The chronological correspondence documents all correspondence that goes out under the Director's signature. It includes only outgoing correpondence, not incoming. Parker's tenure saw many major projects which are represented in the collection including the New Museum, bond election, fundraising for the New Museum, Reves Collection, and other major acquistions.
