Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection is an artifical collection consisting of miscellaneous, single archival items acquired by curators in the course of their research, exhibitions and publications, or related to DMA collection objects. Items are arranged by curatorial department.

The Decorative Arts items are primarily research or collection-related materials. The European and American items are primarily contextual materials for objects and exhibitions. The Contemporary items are primarily related to exhibition installations. The African items are archival copies of collection and exhibiton reviews in important African art publications. The Asian and Latin America items are collection related.

Collection established in 2011 and items are added on an ongoing basis as needed.

Conditions Governing Access

This collection is open for public research. Researchers must make an appointment to view this collection.

The Kennedy assasination newspapers are etremely fragile and access to the article content trhough a digital database is recommended.
