Collection contains papers and photographs collected by Sarah Dorsey Hudson pertaining to her travel on museum-sponsored trips. Papers for each trip may include: itineraries (possibly with notes on activites of the day); correspondence; photographs; list of trip participants; roommate lists; and news clippings. Not all trips will have all types of materials.

Biographical / Historical

Sarah Dorsey Hudson (1905-1996) was an artist and art collector with an active history with the museum. She served as the Museum League's first president in 1938 and was an active Museum School student, as well as important donor and trustee.
