Scope and Contents
This collection contains the exhibition files created and maintained by staff of the Learning Partnerships & Gallery Interpretation [LPGI] team in the Education Department. LPGI files contain exhibition teaching and program materials and reference information including: press releases, exhibition proposals and descriptions, checklists, text panels & label copy, docent guides, teaching packets, school programs (TAG and Go Van Gogh), adult programs, programming budget, tour statistics, exhibition programming and interpretation planning, and reference resources (articles).

Abstract
This collection contains the exhibition files created and maintained by staff of the Learning Partnerships & Gallery Interpretation [LPGI] containing exhibition teaching and program materials and reference information from exhibitions held from 1987-2009.
Arrangement
This collection is arranged chronologically by exhibition opening date. Within each file, material is generally arranged in the following order: general exhibition information, education programs, reference material.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Departmental transfer. Archivist selected records from decommissioned filing cabinets in Fall 2018.
Appraisal
Duplicate material and exhibition catalogue essays and/or photocopies were discarded and reference material was weeded.
Processing Information
Collection processed by Hillary Bober; proccessed completed on 21 March 2019.
Additional description/notes were added for DACS compliance and ArchivesSpace local usage guidelines in 2022.
