This collection contains the records for the exhibition Anne Vallayer-Coster: Painter to the Court of Marie-Antoinette orgainzed by the Dallas Museum of Art which travelled to three venues in 2002-2003. The collection includes exhibition and publication records as well as analog images. Records include: checklists, contracts, planning, budget, funding and sponsorship, correspondence and memoranda, loans, insurance, shipping, tour venues, catalogue, programming, events, publicity, and final reports.

Abstract
This collection contains the records for the exhibition Anne Vallayer-Coster: Painter to the Court of Marie-Antoinette orgainzed by the Dallas Museum of Art which travelled to three venues in 2002-2003. The collection includes exhibition and publication records as well as analog images. Records include: checklists, contracts, planning, budget, funding and sponsorship, correspondence and memoranda, loans, insurance, shipping, tour venues, catalogue, programming, events, publicity, and final reports.
Arrangement
The Vallayer-Coster exhibition records are arranged in two series: Exhibition and Publication. Exhibition series is arranged into four sub-series: Planning, Loan Correspondence, Venues, and Object Files. Publication series is arranged into three sub-series: Images, Production, and Author Correspondence and Drafts. Each sub-series are arranged either alphabetically or chronologically.
Processing Information
The collection was processed by Amanda Davis as a practicum project; processing was completed in July 2019.
The collection contained a large quantity of duplicates which were weeded during processing.
Additional description/notes were added for DACS compliance and ArchivesSpace local usage guidelines in 2021.
