Abstract
The Development & Event Photography collection contains photographic documentation of programs for donors and members organized by the museum's development department staff. Major programs included are Associates, Circles, Corporate, Friends Groups, Junior Associates, Museum and PM Leagues, and Special Events, among others.
Arrangement
The collection is arranged into 17 series representing a program type; the types are based on named programs or created by the archivist to cluster similar programs together for arrangement purposes. Program types are arranged alphabetically, and folders are primarily arranged chronologically within each program type.
If there is more than one photographic media for a program, all photographic media are foldered together for ease of user access; media formats are noted for each program in the description.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Development & Events Photography collection is a combination of photographic documention that was already in the archives, slides transferred from the slide library, and digital photography on disk transferred from the Imaging department.
Appraisal
Slides and prints were heavily weeded within individual programs, though few programs were weeded in processing.
