Abstract
The Photography: People collection consists of portraits and idenitifed candid photographs of people associated with the museum, including trustees, collectors/donors, lecturers and visiting scholars, famous visitors, volunteers, committee chairs and League officers, and museum staff.
Arrangement
The collection has been arranged into four series: Non-staff, Staff, Artists and Viewing Art. Within each series the arrangement is primarily alphabetically, though the Non-staff and Staff series are further divided into individuals, multiples (more than one identified person of significance) and groups; the Staff series has an additional grouping of staff events. The folders with individuals may also contain photos of that individual with others.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Photography: People collection is a combination of photographic documention that was already in the archives, slides transferred from the slide library, and digital photography on disk transferred from the Imaging department.
