Sabiha Al Khemir Records
Scope and Contents
This collection contains the records created or received by Sabiha Al Khemir, the DMA's Senior Advisor for Islamic Art. The bulk of the collection consists of exhibition records for Nur: Light in Art and Science in the Islamic World, 30 March - 29 June 2014. These records include exhibition planning and lender correspondence. The collection also contains records related to the Keir Collection of Islamic Art and exhibitions of the collection. Finally, the collection contains a small amount of records related to establishing relationships through the DMX program.

Arrangement
This collection is arranged in three series: Nur exhibition; Curatorial records; Keir Collection. Within each series records are arranged alphabetically.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Departmental tranfer from Sabiha Al Khemir, Senior Advisor for Islamic Art, on her departure from the position. Records were retrieved by Jacqui Allen on 14 November 2017.
Processing Information
This collection is considered processed per MPLP principles. Files were created recently and folders were well labeled, therefore were not refoldered nor were fasteners removed.
