This collection is generally arranged alphabetically by topic; the records of the decorative arts friends groups are separated and arranged chronologically for clarity.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Venable records were separated from unaccessioned general curatorial files during processing. This group of curatorial files was packed from filing cabinets in the telephone room.
