Biographical / Historical

In Fall 2012 sememster, University of Texas at Dallas aesthetics faculty members, and former DMA directors, Richard R. Brettell and Bonnie Pitman held a course on the history of civic museums. The course used the DMA as an example of a civic art museum and a number of students in the course wrote their final papers on topics related to the DMA, some using the DMA Archives in their research.
