David and Norma McManaway Papers
Scope and Contents
The bulk of this collection are papers of Dallas-based artist David McManaway (d.2010) who was most known for his assemblage pieces he called Jomo boards. (NOTE: there are 4 McManaway works in the DMA collection.] The collection contains photographs, correspondence, publications, David's pun-y cartoon sketches, inspiration material, family materials, audiovisual recordings, and objects meaningful to David or part of his work process. The collection also contains some material from Norma McManaway.

This collection has not been arranged by an archivist. The materials are arranged in the order in which they were received from the donor. Some of this arrangement may have been lost in the freezing process.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Collection was donated by Norma McManaway. The donation was faciliated by Robin Ragin, who also boxed the collection for transfer.
