Arts & Letters Live: Texas Bound Publication Records
Scope and Contents
This collection contains records about the publication of three book volumes and four audio cassette compilations of selected stories and performances from the Texas Bound Series of the museum's Arts & Letters Live program. The publications were produced between 1993-2001. Records include final publications, contracts with the publisher (SMU Press) and audio engineer (Nancy Lamb), production files, author agreements, and performer agreements. All contracts and agreements are the original wet signature documents unless otherwise noted.

This collection contains records about the publication of three book volumes and four audio cassette compilations of selected stories and performances from the Texas Bound Series of the museum's Arts & Letters Live program. The publications were produced between 1993-2001. Records include final publications, contracts, production files, author agreements, and performer agreements.
Arrangement
The collection is arranged in four series: publications; production files; author agreements; and performer agreements. Author and performer agreements are arranged alphabetically by author/performer last name.
Note: author/performer agreement files may contain multiple agreements for separate stories published in multiple volumes. These files also include any related correspondence with the author/performer.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Departmental transfer from Carolyn Hartley, Arts & Letters Live Administrative Coordinator, received in April 2025.
Processing Information
Records for the Texas Bound publications were separated from other Arts & Letters Live program and permissions records also transferred. The Texas Bound anthology volumes may be republished so it made sense to collated all of the related records in a single collection.
