Immediate Source of Acquisition
Deparmental transfer from Sarah Schleuning, Margot Senior Curator of Decorative Arts, received in June 2018.
Tucker's records were packed by curatorial assistants upon his departure from the museum. Boxes remained in the office for use by the interim curator and review by the incoming curator.
Collection accessioned by Hillary Bober on 26 June 2018.
Collection description was updated in 2022 during the ArchivesSpace migration per local usage guidelines for accession resource records.

Records of previous curators of decorative arts Charles Venable and Stephen Harrison were separated from the transfer of Tucker's records.
