Scope and Contents
The collection contains materials created by or about Wendy and Emery Reves separate from the donation of the collection to the museum in the early 1980s.
The Emery Reves series contains miscellaneous correspondence and papers relating to two of Emery's publications The Anatomy of Peace and A Democratic Manifesto, including various editions of both.
The Wendy Reves series contains La Pausa-branded stationary, napkin and menu samples, DMA Silver Supper invitations, and news articles about her.
The Collection series contains miscellaneous correspondence, objects offered but not acquired by the Reves by material type; sales; reproductions of works in the collection; and invoice/receipts for furniture, porcelain, dishware and other decorative art objects purchased by the Reves.
The Churchill Materials series contains notes and writings by and about Churchill including an essay by Wendy about Churchill's time at La Pausa.
