Susan Barnes and Emily Sano Curatorial Chronological Correspondence
This collection consists of the 1992 chronological correspondence of Susan Barnes, Senior Curator of Western Art, and Emily Sano, Senior Curator of Non-Western Art. Sano also served as Deputy Director in this period. Chronological correspondence files contain copies of every piece of external correspondence that went out under either Barnes' or Sano's signature. The collection may also contain copies of internal memos.

Livesay was Assistant Director during the construction of and move to the New Museum and many files relate to that in some way. The collection also includes Board of Trustees and Board committee meeting files.
