MA. Museum Archives

The collection contains the records of Sue Graze, Acting Curator / Associate Curator / Curator of Contemporary Art, 1978-1989. Records consist of correspondence files with artists, galleries, and institutions. The collection also includes subject files primarily on exhibitions and the Friends of Contemporary Art.

This collection contains records created and/or maintained by various curatorial assistants over time, including but not limited to Martha MacLeod, Chelsea Pierce, Hilde Nelson, Alyssa Wood, Meg Roppolo, Veronica Myers, and Ellie Canning. The bulk of the records relate to the European and Contemporary departments. Subjects include exhibitions, research projects, Brettell and Rosenberg lecture series, and policies & procedures.

Later records were created by Chief Curator Steve Nash (1980-1988); earlier records were maintained in the Curatorial Department.
