This collection consists of the records created and maintained by Laura Bruck for the exhibition Dialogues: Duchamp, Cornell, Johns, Rauschenberg, 4 September 2005-8 January 2006. The exhibition was curated by Dorothy Kosinski. Files include general exhibition planning, installation, checklists, programs, events, loans, catalogue, video, and research.
Dallas Art Association Records
The Dallas Art Association operated a public gallery or museum under various names from 1903-1970. The collection includes DAA board of trustee minutes, budget and membership records, miscellaneous publications and ephemera, and scrapbooks. The collection is arranged into 5 series: Minutes, Administrative, Publications, Exhibitions, and Accurals.
Dallas Museum for Contemporary Arts Records
The Dallas Museum for Contemporary Arts (DMCA) was founded 1956 to support the collecting and exhibition of contemporary art in Dallas, and continued until it merged with the Dallas Museum of Fine Art in 1963. The collection is arranged in three series: Adminstrative, Exhibition and Scrapbooks.
Dallas Museum of Art Marketing Records
This collection consists of binders documenting marketing and communications efforts for exhibitions and programs. Marketing binders may include: background, budget, media plan, sponsorship, printed material, outdoor signage (banners, billboards, buses), print ads, TV/Radio, and PR. The collection also contains sponsor reports summarizing marketing efforts for promotional sponsors.
Dallas Museum of Art Oral History Collection
This collection consists of audiovisual media and transcripts from the DMA Archives oral history program. The Oral History Program includes interviews with significant figures associated with the Dallas Museum of Art throughout its history. Interviews date from 1973 to the present.
Dallas Museum of Art Press Kits
The collection contains press kits compliled by the Communications department for press previews. Kits can contain press releases, staff biographys, images of objects, program guides and other ephemera. Press kits are arranged chronologically and are primarily for exhibitions.
DallasSITES: Charting Contemporary Art, 1963-present Timeline Reproductions
This collection contains the reproductions of images produced for the timeline wall of the exhibition DallasSITES: Charting Contemporary Art, 1963-present, held at the Dallas Museum of Art in 2013; the printed timeline labels that were available in the exhibition; and a checklist of all objects in the exhibition.
