Scope and Contents
This collection contains news clippings collected and maintained by the museum's publicity staff to document the DMFA and DMA presence in Dallas newspapers. The span from 1933 to 1998. Clippings were either mounted and stored in binders or kept loose in folders or envelopes. The clippings document exhibitions; acquisitions; museum staff and trustees; programs and lectures; concerts and performances; educational activities and classes; museum operations; funding; building and renovation projects; editorials and opinions; political and legal matters; and controversies.
