This collection contains records created or received by Patrick "Rick" Stewart, Curator of American Art and Chairman of American Paintings and Decorative Arts, 1983-1986. The collection primarily consists of Stewart's records relating to three exhibitions he curated: Lone Star Regionalism, Dallas Collects Americam Painting, and Visions of the West. This collection contains records of Margaret McDermott Curator of African Art Roslyn (Roz) Walker. Susan Barnes and Emily Sano Curatorial Chronological Correspondence

This collection consists of the 1992 chronological correspondence of Susan Barnes, Senior Curator of Western Art, and Emily Sano, Senior Curator of Non-Western Art. Sano also served as Deputy Director in this period. Chronological correspondence files contain copies of every piece of external correspondence that went out under either Barnes' or Sano's signature. The collection may also contain copies of internal memos.
