Chase Kahwinhut Earles' Awards for Batah Kuhuh Alligator Gar Fish Effigy Bottle [DEACC.2020.9]
This collection contains the rosettes, ribbon and medal earned by Chase Kahwinhut Earles for his piece Batah Kuhuh: Alligator Gar Fish Effigy Bottle from six art shows and markets in 2018. The DMA acquired the piece in 2020.
Commemorative Books from the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Dealey
The collection consists of a set of private books on four artworks from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Dealey which were gifted to the museum. Each book contains a reproduction of the artwork, and hand-calligraphied tombstone information and artist biography.
Contemporary Culture / Documentary Arts Collection
The collection contains publications and/or ephemera from exhibitions held at 5501 Columbia Art Center between 1992-2000. The collection also includes publications produced by Contemporary Culture / Documentary Arts Collection, and The Texas African American Photography Archive publications by Alan Govenar.

Dallas Public Library Oral Histories
This collection contains reference copies of oral history interviews from the Dallas Public Library collection with people relevant to DMA history. The bulk of the collection is a series of interviews with Jerry Bywaters, but the collection also includes copies of interviews with Juanita Bromberg, Velma Dozier and R.L. Thornton Jr.
DallasSITES Small Collections
This is an artificial collection to contain and describe the small groups of material donated by individuals in response to the DallasSITES reserarch project (2011-2013). Materials were donated by artists and galleries; there are also news clippings about the Dallas art community in general.
David and Norma McManaway Papers
David McManaway Studio Wall Panel Collection
This collection consists of one section of wall panel with objects from David McManaway's studio; individual items with special significance or representative of McManaway's aesthetic removed from a larger 4x8 foot section of studio wall panel; photographs of large panel; and audio description of selected items.
DW Gallery Records
The collection documents the adminstration, artists and exhibitions of the DW Gallery from 1975-1988. The gallery showcased contemporary regional artists.

This collection contains materials documenting Edith Baker's career as a gallereist and practicing artist. The arrangement follows this duality with series for personal and professional practice. The personal series contains documentation of Baker's art practice, teaching and art-related affiliations. The professional series contains documentation of Baker's professional service (DADA, EASL) and owner of the Edith Baker Gallery.
