The Photography Collections represent all photography on a physical media including black & white and color prints; black & white and color negatives; black & white and color contact sheets; 35 mm slides; transparencies; and digital images stored on disk (CD or DVD). All photography on physical media not in the archives was transferred to the archives upon the closure of the Slide / Visual Resources Library and this is a closed collection. The photography collections were reprocessed in 2016-2017 to merge existing and transfered photography, and create separate content based collections for easier description, use and access. Content based collections are: Building, Collection Documentation, Development & Events, Education & Programming, Exhibition, Miscellany, People, Publications, and 90th Anniversary Timeline. Education & Programming Photography

The Education & Programming Photography collection contains photographic documentation of programs for children and adults organized, or likely organized, by the museum's education department staff.

Indonesian Photography Collection

Abstract

This collection consists of ten photographs depicting indigenous villages in Indonesia. The majority of the photographs are of village residents in indigenous dress, though village architecture also is prominent in some of the photographs. Dates of creation are unknown.

New Museum Demolition and Construction Progress Photographs
